The plans for Ideatalk Mobile will be cancelled
from ideatalk on 07/03/2026 11:20 PMYes you heard me right. Ideatalks plans for mobile will end in September 2026 and this is because of Google. Ideatalk as a company that tries to respect everyones privacy will be forced to cancel Ideatalk Mobile. This will affect most of our users as of January 2027 but this is still bad for every developer. Imagine a 16 year old making his/her first app and he/she can't make it available for his/her users that looks like a nightmare for him/her right? Well it is like a nightmare becoming true or lets imagine Ideatalks founder a teenager that wants privacy online. He will be blocked from publishing his app to 100% of the people that use smartphones and tablets that is a real nightmare happening for him. We dont want to give our private information to a company and us as Ideatalk which we dont have ID or Age verification will most probably reject it.
